celtics vs heat

The Boston Celtics vs. the Miami Heat is rumored to be the NBA ’s opening night game, according to the Boston Globe’s Celtics blog. This comes after reports from the Cleveland Plain Dealer’s Brian Windhorst that Heat-Cavaliers, in Cleveland, would be the league’s debut match up for the 2010-11 season.

The NBA will announce its full slate of marquee games, including its Christmas Day schedule, tonight at 7PM on NBA TV. No word yet on whether Jim Gray will be asking David Stern where he’ll be taking his talents.

Meanwhile, SB Nation reports that, really, no one knows a thing regarding the schedule. Any combination of Heat, Cavaliers, Celtics, or the Orlando Magic is a possibility for opening night, and things won’t be more concrete until we get closer to the announcement.
